"Walmsley sanctuary, A Cornish reserve on the River Camel"

Having been the voluntary warden at this reserve since 1997 I've been photographing wildlife here through all the seasons & weather that the elements can hit us with.

Situated just 500 metres inland from the Camel estuary on the outskirts of Wadebridge this wetland reserve has been owned and managed by the Cornwall Bird Watching & Preservation Society since they bought it in 1939.

We take a look at the landscape & it's varied inhabitants through the camera lens.
