"Arctic Norway for Sea Ducks"

A winter trip to the 'top' of Norway just north of Varanger Fjord to Batsfjord that faces into the Arctic ocean.

Here we rented some floating hides and were able to get close-up photos of several different sea ducks of which the King Eider was our number one target species.

We also saw Stellers' Eider, Common Eider, Long tailed Duck and others.

The Aurora borealis, Northern Lights also showed very well during our visit.

This talk can be seen in full and lasts for about 30 minutes but can be combined with any of my other Scandinavian talks or combined into a 4 parter to include cut down versions of this plus Bears in Finland, Iceland in the Winter & Musk Ox in Norway.
